Thomas N. Hendrickson founds Computerized Pollution Abatement Corporation to manufacture silver recovery equipment, which enables photofinishers to reduce polluting discharge to the environment and become more profitable.
1970
Installs its first system for recovering silver from photographic developer.
1974
Installs the industry's first-ever electrolytic equipment for silver recovery from bleach-fix. Also exhibits for the first time at Photokina, the photo industry's largest trade show.

Joint Venture with B.R. MacKay forms Profit Recovery Systems (PRS), a sales and marketing organization for equipment and silver refining.
1981
IPO of CPAC stock (Nasdaq NNM: CPAK) raises $2.67 million for 677,000 shares. CPAC has now installed more than 1000 systems in 80 countries.
1984
Adds color photographic chemicals to its equipment line with the acquisition of Trebla Chemical Company -- its first foray into specialty chemicals.
1988
Acquires Allied Photo Products, a manufacturer of chemistry for the medical, dental and graphic arts industries, which is later named Allied Diagnostic Imaging Resources. This move supports CPAC's strategy to penetrate new Imaging markets.
1989
Acquires IMG Photo Products, a maker of silver recovery units for medical and graphic arts.
Forms joint venture with N.V. Ampaco S.A., in Belgium to create CPAC Europe, a color photographic manufacturer establishing CPAC's presence in global markets.
1991
Increases ownership of CPAC Europe to 98%.
1992
Acquires Chimifoto Ornano, S.r.l., which, as CPAC Italia, adds strength to the global brand.

1993
Announces a 5% stock dividend effective June 11th. Acquires The Fuller Brush Company, a strategic move to reduce CPAC's dependence on the future of traditional silver halide Imaging.
1994
CPAC named a "Top 25" company by Rochester Business Journal. Other companies on the list include Eastman Kodak, Bausch & Lomb, Gannett Co. and Xerox.
Signs long-term license agreement with Stanley Home Products, a direct sales organization for home care and personal care products, to drive volume through the Fuller plant in Great Bend, KS.
1995
Announces a 5-for-4 stock split payable on Jan. 12th.
Imaging Group companies begin to market Fuller-branded cleaning and skin care products for use by photo and medical lab personnel.
The Fuller Brush Company celebrates its 90th anniversary.
1996
CPAC, Inc. announces a five-for-four stock split effective May 3rd. Acquires commercial and industrial chemistry business of IVAX Corp. These assets are joined with Fuller's commercial products to create Cleaning Technologies Group.
On-line ordering capabilities added to fuller.com, adding an e-commerce sales channel.
1997
Acquires an 80% interest in distributor RT Chem Corporation and begins manufacturing in Pretoria, South Africa. CPAC Africa is the only photographic chemical packager on the continent.
Breaks ground on 105K ft2 distribution center at Fuller's Great Bend, KS plant. 1998
Breaks ground on CPAC Asia in Bangkok, Thailand, which becomes CPAC's sixth global chemical manufacturing facility.
Acquires PerfectView, maker of medical x-ray illuminators, to enhance CPAC's equipment manufacturing capabilities.
Cleaning Technologies Group forms strategic alliance with MCC - a national cleaning services company.

Acquires SteriDent, a manufacturer of dry heat sterilizers and evacuation systems for dental and medical markets, which are manufactured by CPAC Equipment Division.

Allied signs multi-year agreements with Premier, Inc. and Radiology Partners, Inc., a strategic move to strengthen its position with Group Purchasing Organizations.

The Fuller Brush Company completes a successful first year selling consumer goods via QVC television home shopping, bringing Fuller's quality products into the living rooms of tens of millions of potential customers.
